Robes & Wrinkles is a first-person power-fantasy game placing you in the "Robes" of an evil sorcerer. Taking place within a comically oversized tower, you will face strange warped foes who will be made to cower at your power!

Physics-Based Tomfoolery

The non-serious gameplay allows players to truly immerse themselves as the "Evil Supreme Overlord" they should aspire to be. Smite weaklings with books, tables, barrels (and the literal kitchen sink) to remove the fools from your path...

Procedural Dungeons And Handcrafted Story Levels

Play through a mixture of handcrafted and randomised dungeons! Learn new spells and abilities before facing the Rubixium, your own "Room-Shuffler", in either an endless mode or through the story.

A Cheeky Companion

You are not alone... Form a pact with your once former minion (...and now "left-hand man") 'Skully' and use them to channel your powers! Possess objects, cast spells and unleash your ultimate "evilness" against those who oppose your power!

What To Expect

For the sake of transparency, you can expect the EA release to contain an initial entry into the Story and an 'Arcade Mode' which features procedural generation.

Our aim is to provide you with something at launch that can be continuously replayed and we want your feedback to influence our future decisions! 

We design and develop for fun, if you find something buggy but non game-breaking and funny then make sure to screenshot and show it off! Things will always get fixed and we our keen to share our roadmap soon.

Why Early Access?

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Robes & Wrinkles is planned to be within Early Access for between 4-6 months”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to feature a variety of new spells, harder endless dungeon tiers and more levels. This is of course followed by consistent bug fixes and adjustments based on feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently the Early Access version includes two major boss fights across 6 main levels and an "Endless Dungeon" mode which features procedural generation, stat tracking and multiple abilities for the player to find.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We believe in pricing being reflective of content. To this extent, we will be gradually raise the price as we ship major content releases but we will begin on the lower spectrum. Players should get what they pay for.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will be asked to submit feedback that can influence levels, potential abilities and put in requests for potential gameplay modes. Feedback will be taken from our Steam forums and our Discord”
